Trump has turned Europe, Canada, Mexico, and China (plus others) into a new United global power. They will do fine without the US. We've already begun to experience brain drain and it won't be long until AI, robotics, natural resources, and technology are being lead by these countries. The US is losing bigly.
Here’s the overriding problem - much wealth is derived from fossil fuels. All countries are experiencing climate changes that are affecting food production and accelerating fire, drought, heat, and flooding perils.
Prosperity and national independence are intoxicating, but the climate perils are inexorable.
